A Belgian fast food restaurant in France called Quick is offering Star Wars burgers for the release of Episode 1: 3D in March.  The burgers have character themes to them.  There’s Darth Maul, that doesn’t resemble any of the bad guy’s colors or double edged lightsaber.  Then there’s a Jedi burger consisting of Yoda, this one actually has greenish sauce and organic toppings so it fits with the master’s character.  The last one is the best, Darth Vader!  Complete with a black bun and tomatoes to match his red lightsaber.  I don’t know much these are going to cost but Darth …

Lego used to make Batman sets a couple of years ago but it tanked.  No one bought it and they were on clearance.  I picked up several sets for 50% at Target and now they’re worth a lot.  They became popular after the Lego Batman video game came out.  This year, Lego is releasing new superheroes sets including DC and Marvel figures.  The Batman pics came out recently and I’m pretty happy with it because it’s not just “variants” from the old sets.  There’s similarities to the old sets but overall, the designs are new.  No actual release date has been …

December, the final month of the subscription service from Mattycollector.com—thankfully… Missing is Demo-Man–the concept of Skeletor was delayed until Janurary so for now it’s Battleground Evil-Lyn and The Wind Raider.

DC announced that they will be releasing a new Jim Lee JLA ensemble shirt on Free Comic Day 2012.  The shirt will be available for sale at comic shops on April 11 and the free comic event will be on May 5th.
