Dave sent us a link to a video of the new Transformers 3D Ride at Universal Studios Hollywood. It’s supposed to be “fans” breaking into attraction and getting some footage of it. I think Universal wants this to go viral. The Universal copyright at the end of the video proves it was made by them. Regardless it looks really cool and the design is top notch.

It’s one of those I feel old moments again. I can’t believe it’s been 20 years since Spawn came out and became the #1 comic. Through the years, Todd Mcfarlane (Spawn creator) also made great toys and made about 35 series or so of Spawn toys alone. Most were well designed and well made but the last two years before the toy line were cancelled, the products had crappy paint job, broken pieces and smaller in scale compared to the other lines.

The white mailer box is great, like The Wind Raider and The Star Sisters it has a misprint of “Snake Mountain” printed at the bottom where “Cringer” was at the bottom of the Star Sisters box and “Battle Ram Chariot” was at the bottom of the Wind Raider box–it’s got to be a puzzle game…? OR, Maybe not–whatever.

Threadless just announced that several cool designs from their shirts are now available in Xbox’s Avatar Marketplace. The funny part is that the hoodies cost more than the regular shirts that your avatar will be wearing. I guess pricing structure in the digital world is the same as ours. The shirt will cost 80 MS points, while the hoodies will cost 160.

The Mattycollector.com Masters of the Universe Classics subscription has begun again for this, the 30th anniversary of Masters of the Universe. New for this year is a 30th anniversary logo and a really messed up subscription schedule starting in the first month. Hot Toys has teased us again with more cool movie 1/6th memorabilias. This time it’s for the Nolan Batman franchise.
The first figure they have revealed for the upcoming Dark Knight Rises will be Bane. Since it’s a teaser pic, it doesn’t show the whole figure. The figure’s costume looks exactly the same as Bane’s in the clips we’ve seen.
