The SDCC seems to always have the best collectibles and this color changing Orko which was only available at the convention is no less than the best!

Orko was the kind of character that was hard to dislike, his funny voice played by actor/producer Lou Scheimer made us all laugh. The subscription at Mattycollector.com for 2011 has begun and the first figure subscribers have received is Vikor “The He-Man of the North.”

Vikor is a new creation in figure form and has only existed on paper as one of the original concept designs for the iconic character He-Man.

Vikor resembles…Well, a Viking, complete with helmet, tattered loin-cloth and “fur” cape. This concept art reject also comes equipped with spiked shield, battle axe and a sword which is sheathed in a great position–sideways along his lower back. So today was my birthday and I was surprised by my co workers with this awesome cake.  I couldn’t freaking believe it.

Our friends at Mimobot just announced their latest line at CES, DC Comics.  The first wave will consist of Batman characters including Blue and Black versions of Batman, Joker, Robin and Catwoman.

 
 
 

 
The  limited black costume Batman (5000 pieces) is now available for purchase on the site but the rest of the characters haven’t been added yet.

Hot Toys is branching off its movie line and starting to make more video game figures.  Hot Toys is a high end collectable company focusing on 12 inch figures.  The weapons and accessories are well sculpted and the figures are considered to be the best in the industry.  They retail from $150 – $200.  Some of the figures like the Original Batman Begins Costume go for as high as $600.

Hot Toys has just released a pic of Bruce Lee’s headsculpt on their FB page.

The likeness isn’t 100% spot on but I like how they captured his cocky smile.  I’m sure this is still  work in progress and the final version will be more awesome!  Hot Toys is getting crazy buying up as many licenses as possible including Sucker Punch, Captain America and Metal Gear Solid.…
