K-ON!!!!! “Beautiful World” Part 8.

Cut and paste—Photo Shop style! This is what Miho would look like. I used the girl as the base—I can’t find a signature or where I got the picture to give credit to the great artist, but if you are out there, awesome art! I added other pieces to her and re-colored her outfit to match. The guitar is a Takamine Jasmine, I went over it with the paint bucket tool and it turned out cartoon style with wear on the body, it was just luck. I tried to size everything as correctly as possible—after all, Miho is only 5’2”, so

xj87 1024x576 TV Review: The Legend of Korra Book 2 Finale (Spoilers)

The second season of The Legend of Korra is a weird one to say the least. The first few episodes leading up to Avatar Wan range from utter stupid bullshit to just barely mediocre, the ones that take place after are pretty damn enjoyable and manage to capture many of the things that made the original series so beloved. With a pretty even 50/50 split there it falls to the finale to decide on what kind of note the season will end on.

Following Raava being killed by a Vaatu empowered Unalaq, Korra is left powerless as he insane uncle turns

Thor The Dark World 7 704x1024 Movie Review: Thor The Dark World

The original Thor was a film with great action, fantastic performances from most of the cast and the potential to be something truly special but squandered it fairly quickly in order to devolve into a romantic comedy with one of the most rushed and unbelievable romances and character arcs I’ve seen yet. Thankfully its sequel, Thor The Dark World, manages to capitalize on the originals potential but still suffers from some of the usual Marvel Studios weaknesses.

The film takes place about a year after the Avengers, Loki is in prison, Thor and the Warriors Three battle across the Nine Realms

K-ON!!!!! “Beautiful World” Part 6.

From left to right: Jun, Azusa, Ui, Nao, Sawako and Sumire.

Here it is, the last Manga of K-ON! Although I’ve read the fan translation online a ton of times, it’s nice to actually own the book. However, there are some serious translation problems—most notably is that the translator has changed the fact that Sumire’s family comes from Austria to Australia? What the hell? I triple checked the information and came to the conclusion that they want to hide that Sumire’s family was probably against the Nazi’s and were taken to Japan by the Kotobuki family who were also probably against

yhnu TV Review: The Legend of Korra The Guide

Following the spectacular “Beginnings Part 1 & 2” which managed to begin the redemption process for LoK, I fully expected the show to go back to BS mode following the last few episodes being pretty damn great. Thankfully this isn’t the case and for the first time I feel like the show has found its footing and knows where it wants to go but not without some lingering issues keeping it down.

Continuing where the last episode left off, “The Guide” continues all of the various story lines set up previously and manages to push them all forward at a brisk

Ever since the Avatar was fully explained thanks to Roku in the original series, most fans of the show, myself included, immediately started to wonder who was the first Avatar? Well after years of speculation and various fan theories, “Beginnings Part 1 & 2” finally answers this question in spectacular fashion in what may be the best episodes in both Avatar shows by far.

Part 1 begins with Korra being taken by the Fire Sages into their temple where they put her in something resembling holy water after figuring out her spirit was infected and would be destroyed unless she regained …

Vintage Toy Of The Month: Sailor Moon Dolls!

Vintage Toy Of The Month: Sailor Moon Dolls!

Paladin here, taking over for Miss M for this months Vintage Toy—yeah I sold her out…just kidding…

Anyhow, with Sailor Moon making a revival; Usagi and friends need a little…oh…wait…Well, I guess Serena and friends…::sigh::…

All right, so in the U.S. about 20 years ago we were cheated—uh—treated—to the Magical Girl Anime, Sailor Moon which consisted of five teenage girls who were actually princesses of the planets and moon of the Earth. These girls had the job of protecting humanity all the while, going to school, hanging out and growing up.

Although Go Lion (Voltron) was probably one of the most …

Arrow 2x01 Promo 4 1024x681 TV Review: Arrow Season 2 Premiere City of Heroes

After spending so much time lately dedicated to watching shows like The Legend of Korra and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. I forgot what it felt like to watch a TV show that didn’t piss me off every week with its piss poor writing, characters and production values, following the return of Arrow we can safely start enjoying TV again and if this episode is any indication, Arrow Season 2 should be something quite special moving forward.

Following the events of the Season 1 finale “Sacrifice” things have changed, mostly for the worse, for most of the characters following the destruction of the …

You would think that a show by Joss Whedon, the man responsible for Buffy, Angel, Firefly, Doll House and the Avengers which is based around our favorite secret agency and starring the Son of Coul would be something pretty awesome, well you’d be dead wrong for thinking that.

I wasn’t that particularly excited for the show in the months leading up to its release, in fact it took me two days to realize the premiere aired so that should give you some idea of how much I gave a damn about it. Even though I wasn’t particularly excited, going into the …

K-ON!!!!! “Beautiful World” Part 1.

The cover art of the Jun, Character CD, just cleaned up a bit. Jun is voiced by Yoriko Nagata and although she doesn’t have as many episodes in the Anime or lines of dialog that she deserves–not to mention that she didn’t have a name until the last episode of season 1 of the Anime; she is still a great character and that is why I have made her a featured player on this stage.

Last time was the end of the “Dust in the Wind” series ending with part 13. The story now continues in:
