This weekend I went to Circuit City for their last day on Earth. Pretty much everything’s gone. They were selling almost everything other than their usual lineups; like clipboards, crates, name tags, receipt papers, and tampons (yeah, you read that right). After finishing tough opponents in 08, Gegard Mousasi became a household name in the MMA community. Although, Mousasi fought in Pride FC before, his rise to stardom was not complete until he became the Dreams’ Middleweight GP 08 champion. He faced formidable opponents in the tourney: including the elite striker, Melvin Manhoef; and the submission specialist, Jacare. In the the end, Mousasi finished both fighters in the first round.

Two days after the Street Fighter IV launch party at the MOCA in downtown LA, Capcom and GameStop held another Street Fighter IV event.  This time it was for a tournament and party at the Universal CityWalk in CA.  It was a great way to promote the game and now I want to get my rear to the nearest store to grab me a copy.

The GameStop store had most of their kiosks setup with SFIV, except for the Wii kiosks (sorry Wii owners). They also had a Venom energy drink booth, where the lovely booth girls would serve you up …
