Written by Frank Miller and drawn by David Mazzucchelli, Batman: Year One is a great story on Batman’s origin.  The graphic novel is a compilation of the 4 part series originally released in 1988.

The story focuses on Bruce Wayne’s first adventures as Batman and his relationship with Gotham PD’s new lieutenant, James Gordon.  Along the way, we also get a glimpse of Gotham’s mob, the Maroni family(main focus on The Long Halloween), Catwoman and Harvey Dent (also a focus on The Long Halloween).

I’m not gonna write much here. You guys know the backstory behind Harvey Dent. I just want to show you guys some cool pics from Hot Toys. This guy is about 12″ tall and would probably run at about $175, just like the Dark Knight and the Joker.

Hollywood Reporter reported that Don Cheadle will be taking over the role of Jim Rhodes in the Iron Man sequel.  It seems that negotations between Terrence Howard and Marvel about his pay didn’t work out.

Looks like there won’t be a “next time” for Terrence as War Machine.  I enjoyed his role opposite of Robert Downey Jr., but now with Cheadle on board, I guess the movie can focus on being more dark and serious.

Let’s cut to the chase.  This episode is entertaining, but not as good is the other episodes for season 3.  The story still feels like nothing has happened.  The twists, you can already predict from previous episodes, as if they’re slowly peeling away a banana peel, but you already know what’s inside the banana peel. And if you don’t know what’s inside, then I suggest you try it.  It’s filled with Potassium!

Below are pictures of a 1/6th (12 inches) scale action figure by Hot Toys. The prototype version was painted by an artist named JC Hong. His skills are remarkable as he makes the Joker come to life. Of course, the final product does not look anything like Hong’s version, but Hot Toys did try to reproduce Hong’s painting as much as possible.

The movie just got released today on DVD and Blu-ray.  I purchased the Blu-ray format.  Popped this little baby in my PS3 when I arrived home.  Ok, I see an image of Tony Stark’s artificial heart loading on my TV.  Ok, it’s installing something, just like my Transformers Blu-ray.   Now I checked back to see it’s still loading.  I restarted it to see if would work, but no dice.  It was still loading/installing.  Why is it taking so long? Is my PS3 creating an Iron Man suit in there?

Ok, the third episode for Heroes Season 3 starts out ok.  The storyline in this week’s episode revolves around Sylar helping HRG to capture the Level 5 fugitives.  HRG is forced to partner up with his rival in order to stop a group that is supposedly more dangerous than Sylar; meanwhile, Claire ditches school so that she can learn from her mom, who can create fire, to fight against bad guys.  Hiro and Ando are still on their pursuit to find Daphne, the speedster, and Tracy Strauss is figuring out who Nikki is and why Nikki looks just like her.…
