Before there was the Power Rangers, or any other Japanese-inspired, live-action, superhero television show on for that matter, two series aired in Hawai’i and briefly in various cities around the continental U.S. called  Kikaider and Kamen Rider V3.

Hercules: The Thracian Wars is a great graphic novel, full of amazing art, and a captivating story. It starts with Hercules’ nephew traveling through the dirty roads of Thrace, his cousin narrates the book. The Thracian king has hired Hercules and his team of misfits to train the Thracian army. Hercules arrives and is immediately ridiculed by the guards as being too small. This did not end well.

In the new trailer for Marvel Vs. Capcom 3, it shows Captain America saving Chun Li from a chopper.  Sure, it’s a bit overdramatic and we don’t see actual gameplay but it’s still cool to see the characters that will be in the game.

Coolest part for me was when Vietiful Joe and Amaterasu showed up.  The graphics are so pretty…….…

When people think of Las Vegas today, images of slot machines, showgirls or club pools brimming with scantily clad fist-pumpers most likely come to mind. Over Labor Day weekend, Vegas came to be known for something else. Self-taught British graphic designer and illustrator, Simon C Page, has released three posters for his series “Hero And Villain.”   The concept of this artwork is to identify two characters.  The hero is really easy to spot but the bad guy is harder to find.   You’ll have to think outside the box to find the villains.

It was supposed to be an original proposal. But someone entered a line from the most recent installment of the Fullmetal Alchemist manga which came out last June. According to the Anime News Network, a travel pass worth the equivalent of $1,200. was up for grabs, all someone had to do was come up with the best marriage proposal. The heroes who stand around Chinese Mann’s Theatre in Hollywood Blvd waiting for photo ops, filed a lawsuit against Los Angeles.  The lawsuit claims that the super heroes are being unfairly targeted by the cops.  The city is arguing that they consider the masked men and women as aggressive panhandlers that causes tense situation for the tourists.  I see these cosplayers everytime I go to the Kodak Theatre and they do ask for money for every photo op.  While most of them are cool, some are sneaky and ask for money after the picture is taken.  There are other street …
