Marvel has announced that in February, they’ll start a “Death Of Spider-Man” storyline.  The story is written by the ever busy and popular Mark Millar (Wanted, Civil War).  Here’s the statement from Marvel:

Walking Dead’s first season will be released on Blu-Ray and DVD on March 8, 2011.  The set will have all 6 episodes and retail for $49.99.  Yeah, I know, that’s pretty expensive but look at that epic cover.  That’s worth $40 alone!!

Batman The Return #1 was the number one comic book for November, selling about 99,500 copies.  The trend with comic sales is that if a comic sells more than 100,000 copies, it’s a success.  Batman The Return, is a success but I’m sure DC hope it would cross the 100k mark.  Blackest Night #5 was last year’s top title in the same time frame selling 144,000 copies.  That’s a big gap and overall sale of comics is down by 6% for the the month of November.  While Marvel’s top selling comic landed at #3 in Avengers #7, they still got the …

Here’s a rumor that makes sense. The Prey, written by Doug Moench might be the influence for the next film. In The Prey, Batman is a fugitive, and a crazy guy named Dr. Hugo Strange pretends to be Batman due to his obsession with the caped crusader. The Dark Knight left off with Batman running from the law, so it makes sense.

Hot Toys has just released a teaser pic for a 1/6th version of Spidey.  It’s from the third movie but overall, his costume looked the same for all 3 movies so it doesn’t really matter which Spider-Man movie it’s based from.  Expect to pay around $150 -$175 for the figure.
