It was just announced today that the villain in Zack Snyder’s Superman movie will be Zod and he will be played by none other than Boardwalk Empire’s twisted policeman Michael Shannon.  Here is the official announcement compliments of Deadline New York:

The last of the series, this is a good book. I have to admit that the first issue didn’t intrigue me that much. The artwork seemed too dark, the characters all looked the same, and the story was all over the place. But, the third and final book cleaned everything up, the characters and the storytelling came together.

Earp, as the title suggests, is about the legendary lawman of the west. This version though, takes place in Las Vegas, the new boomtown of the West. The story is quite similar to the old tale, but it has enough differences to keep the story interesting. Las Vegas is created as a character in itself, it feel glamorous but unstable at the same time.

The Earp brothers are trying their best not to get involved with the struggle between the outlaws and the Pinkertons. You just know from reading this book that they will have no choice but to dive in. …

So apparently there was a bit of an outcry over the first set of pics released of Adrienne Palicki in her Wonder Woman duds.  The show’ had ditched the comic character’s iconic red boots and this sent many fans into an uproar. 

Now they’ve released some on-set photos of Palicki filming the show and Wonder Woman’s costume has been revised.  It looks like the red boots are back.  Let’s just hope they can please the fans with the rest of the show.  I’m still a little skeptical over seeing her run down the street dressed like this but I’m definitely going …

Batman.  X-Men. Spider-Man.   These are the titles you expect to be hot sellers but Godzilla is joining their ranks.  IDW has just announced that Gozilla: King Of Monsters #1, sold out within one day.  Did I know this comic came out?  Hell no.  But apparently the comic fans are clamoring to the first issue.  Maybe the readers are bored with superhero comics and just want to experience straight out mayhem from Godzilla.

As previously reported on Nerdosciety, a Daredevil reboot has been in-development.  Well the wheels are turning faster as David Slade, the guy who directed Twilight Saga: Eclipse and 30 Days of Night has been added to direct the project.  He has also directed music videos for Stone Temple Pilots, Muse and System of a Down.
