Before there was the Power Rangers, or any other Japanese-inspired, live-action, superhero television show on for that matter, two series aired in Hawai’i and briefly in various cities around the continental U.S. called  Kikaider and Kamen Rider V3.

Shogungamer.com just uploaded a video on youtube that looks like a live action trailer for Pokemon.  The video captures the last 39 seconds of the 3 minute  preview and it looks really bad.  Don’t know if this is fan made or not but they should have made the theme more “fun” instead of “bad ass.”

Now I want Ash to be electrocuted by Pikachu…

Anime Vegas was a small, but fun event held at the Alexis Park Hotel in Las Vegas. The cosplayers came in full force, and there were plenty of high-quality costumes for the cameras.

I’m sure that I, like a lot of people have found a good amount of movies that have come from being TV shows. Some of the current favorites of the 80’s/90’s genre are Transformers and G.I. Joe. The two cartoon/comic book properties spent years as popular animations which had countless viewers sitting in front of the television waiting to see the adventures of their favorite heroes and villains.

Over Labor Day weekend, Vegas came to be known for something else. After 4 months of waiting for my pre-order to come to me, I FINALLY have the Black Rock Shooter, Figma, action figure! This figure is absolutely amazing, for being made in China the quality is top notch. The detail throughout the figure is that of a hand painted statue, which is what I compare this figure to. It was supposed to be an original proposal. But someone entered a line from the most recent installment of the Fullmetal Alchemist manga which came out last June. According to the Anime News Network, a travel pass worth the equivalent of $1,200. was up for grabs, all someone had to do was come up with the best marriage proposal.
