Activision just announced that at the end of June 30, 2010, they have sold more than 20 million expansion packs for the Call of Duty Franchise. Activision Blizzard CEO, Robert Kotick said the following:
“The Call of Duty franchise is unique in the world of entertainment and delivers one of the best multiplayer experiences ever. We are thrilled to deliver to fans exciting and engaging content that has the intensity they have come to expect from the franchise.”
Keep in mind that this figure just isn’t for Modern Warfare 2 but for all the Call Of Duty Games.
I still haven’t purchased any map packs from any COD games because I got burned by the crappy expansion maps in Gears Of War and I promised myself, it’s better to save up that money to buy another game. The new map pack with the amusement park for Modern Warfare 2 called Resurgence Pack looks good though…
