Everybody is talking about the upcoming film, The Green Hornet. My interest for this film is very low, I haven’t even seen the trailer yet. But before there was Jay Chou, there was Bruce Lee. Here’s a black and white footage of his audition for the role as Kato.
Is this guy cocky or what? I love his attitude, let’s hope that Tony Jaa can do him justice!

Tony Jaa is not Kato in the new Hornet. The new Kato is played by a famous singer & producer from Taiwan, and his name is Jay Chou.

Truthfully not impressed about his acting, he has no emotion.
Who should played the new Kato? Danny Chan! Who is he? he’s the guy who played the goalie in Shaolin Soccer. After that movie, he played the role, Bruce Lee, in the tv series, The Legend of Bruce Lee. Jay Chou went for the same role but lost to Danny.

Anyway, maybe it’s not the best to have some guy who looks like Bruce Lee to play Kato. Maybe they should find a real Japanese actor to played Kato.
But you know, doesn’t matter, won’t waste money seeing this movie anyway.
