Earlier, I was thinking I should re-play Shadow Of The Colossus for the PS2 because it had pretty cool big ass creatures that you had to kill and an awesome soundtrack. But then I already put my PS2 away and my PS3 doesn’t have backwards compatibility so I wondered if there’ll ever be a sequel to Colossus. It turns out the makers of the game, Ico, will have a new game by December called the Last Guardian. Also, they’re going to release an updated version of Shadow Of The Colossus in Fall 2010 which will be in HD and 3D compatible. Yes!
In the Last Guardian, you control a young boy and his trusty pet, it looks like hybrid between a dog, ostrich and a bird. You use the trusty pet to solve puzzles and navigate through the terrain. There hasn’t been much hype with the game yet because it’s being overshadowed by Black Ops and Dead Space 2 and it’s not scheduled to come out until November 2010. I’m sure the hype will be up a month before its release.
