I was really looking forward to this Bane statue. It’s inspired from Kelley Jones’ art from the Knightfall series. Instead of making Bane menacing, he looks like a goofball. Adding insult to injury, the statue will retail for $100. This means most shops will sell him for $85 instead of the regular $70 price tag.

Hey man, this Bane isn’t menacing because it IS inspired by the Kelly Jones artwork. Jones is probably the worse Batman artist there ever was. I could live with the cover while I was collecting Knightfall in the early 90’s, but after that series ended he started drawing the Batman books all the time and they were terrible! So I stopped reading Batman and went to Detective Comics so I could have some decent artwork.
Jones needs to stick to Tales from the Crypt or something like that and leave the major books to artists who can draw people, not monsters.
