From the series Transformers: Animated, comes Megatron. This “Leader Class” Megatron is probably the best version of the evil leader of the Decepticons since the gun from the 80’s.

Megatron is a duel-blade helicopter with a giant cannon under the cockpit. When he is changed into robot form he is pretty damn big and has 2 swords which double as his helicopter blades and the large cannon can be mounted on either arm to have him resemble the Megatron of old.

Megatron also has three “action” phrases that can be spoken by depressing the Decepticon symbol on his chest. The phrases are accompanied by a light show and his mouth moves when the button is pressed. In helicopter form the sounds of the blades turning replaces the voice phrases.

The large cannon also fires a projectile and the all-around quality of the figure is pretty sturdy.
The figure has so many interesting features that the only thing that could make it better would be if he was the P-38 pistol…Sadly, unless a new cartoon came out with an “R” rating, that will never happen…
