Bitch’in Toy Of The Week: Cobra Commander!

Bitchin Toy Of The Week: Cobra Commander!

In 2008 the San Diego Comicon offered a Cobra Commander figure that was exclusive only to the convention.
This figured offered what is supposed to be an early form of the Commander before his Cobra organization was formed. Cobra Commander is wearing a black suit and his trademark blue hood, he comes with a podium, microphone and mic stand. At the front of the podium is of course a Cobra banner.

The cards artwork is awesome as it always is and shows the Commander rallying his followers–fist in the air!

The figure had a varient of him wearing a blue jacket and tan pants–referred to as the Springfield Country Club Commander. This figure was made in limited numbers and appears to command 6 times the price of the standard Commander.

Cobra Commander in the black suit (or variant) are great additions to a collection, I keep mine on the top shelf to keep the cats away–might as well protect the rare figures! As for opening the figure–it’s always an option that is up to the collector, as for me…NO!

Great figure;  look for a good price on ebay, the specialty shops are charging too much and a graded figure is just not worth it unless that is what YOU collect. This figure was $25 with shipping–very satisfied!
