Here are 5 teaser posters for Battle: Los Angeles. The story is about a group of Marines fighting in present day Los Angeles. The director, Jonathan Liebesman (Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning) describes it as “Black Hawk Down With Aliens.” 4 of the 5 posters look good, it has a viral feel to it. The 5th one looks too fake, although the alien in the background looks cool, reminds me of Predator.
While the posters look good, I can’t say the same for the footage. It looks to rely too much on CG and it looks really bad. Maybe it’s just a test footage but you can see what appears to be the Santa Monica Pier in the background as the choppers battle it out.
Battle: Los Angeles comes out March 11, 2011 and stars Aaron Eckhart and Michelle Rodriguez
