Bloomberg has reported that Apple CEO, Steve Jobs was informed with the antenna problem early in the design phase. Apple still went through with the design and now they’re facing scrutiny from their loyal fans. The iPhone has been reported to drop calls when you hold it vertically aka “iPhone 4 Death Grip.” Users suggested holding it horizontally to get better reception. Consumer Reports suggested that users shouldn’t buy the iPhone 4, it’s the first time they didn’t reccomend an iPhone.
Apple today released a patch through iTunes, no word yet if it fixes the problem. The issue could cost Apple up to a billion dollars and even worse, lose fans and supporters.
