Just like the other Spider-Man movies, New York City will be the backdrop for the reboot, Amazing Spider-Man. To celebrate the release, Toys R Us in Times Square will have props from the movie on display. This will coincide with all the merchandise from Amazing Spider-Man including action figures, web blasters and backpacks.
Charity Stand Up To Cancer (SU2C) has also teamed up with Sony on a special line of shirts showcasing the webslinger with a message to fight cancer.
So far, Amazing Spider-Man is getting good reviews and should open big. I hope it has legs because I want the director to succeed, Marc Webb. He directed the well made low budget, 500 Days of Summer.
