If you’ll be in Vegas around the beginning of summer, you can stop in to the South Point Hotel & Casino just south of all the main activity on the Strip, and check out the Amazing! Las Vegas Comic Convention.
Special guests include Stan Lee, Jim Lee, Batman’s Greg Capullo, Uncanny Avengers’ writer Rick Remender, Deadpool writer Gerry Duggan, My Little Pony’s Tony Fleecs, Superman and Teen Titans’ Scott Lobdell, as well as Humberto Ramos, penciler of Spiderman, and other artists like Star Wars and Transformers artist Livio Ramondelli. There is an extremely long list of exhibitors and artists, including Big Dog, Top Cow and Boom! Studios, who put the Adventure Time comic. And as an added bonus, the folks from CGC will be there so you can get your comic books rated after you get them signed!
Superstar Cosplayers Jessica Nigri and Ivy Doomkitty will be there to liven things up as well as the XX Girls along with Angelica Danger Dawn. The Very Awesome Girls Into Nerdy Activities will also be hosting the scavenger hunt. There will be a video game area sponsored by gaming company Arcade Zone Hard Punch, and on Sunday, designated as Kid’s Day, Phineas & Ferb writer/artist Matt Nastos will be on hand providing free sketches for the 10 & under crowd.
