The gangsta rapper has tried his hat at acting in the past which has usually ended up with little to no success. Now he may not be Gary Oldman, but from the looks of some recent pictures it looks like he’s at least taking the job seriously. These shocking photos come directly from the rapper’s website Thisis50.com. The rapid weight loss is due to the musician’s preparation for he’s lead role in the film Things Fall Apart directed by Mario Van Peebles. In the film 50 Cent will play a football player diagnosed with cancer, also confirmed to star in the film is actor Ray Liotta.
Comparison from before and now
I have never been a fan of 50 Cent’s acting but I have to say I respect him for willing to change his physical appearance to fit the role like actors Christian Bale in The Machinist, and Jared Leto in Chapter 7. This one could be interesting to watch and I hope 50 finds his acting chops. Production for the movie has pretty much wrapped up and 50 will soon be back out on tour.
