There are 2 main important thing for me to be a Spartan. The 1st one is the body(still working on that one =P), and the outfit. It’s jam time for me since Anime Expo is in one more week. A Spartan is no Spartan without his gear. Each Spartan back then built their own armor and each would have their own unique style to it. The most coolest thing about a Spartan would have to be the helm.
I started off with cardboard to shape the helm.
Coated it with fiberglass for toughness.
Covered it with Apoxie Sculpt for texture.
And finally painted it with a gold/bronze color and tada, it’s done.
Now wasn’t that easy?
The same process went towards the greaves and the vambraces. More to come later!!!! So check back soon. In the meantime, READY YOUR BREAKFAST AND EAT HEARTY!!!!
