On October 10, 2010, filmmakers – both professional and amateur – will be participating in an event which will be documenting 24 hours in the lives of people from around the world. One Day On Earth would like you to help document one day in your life or the life of someone you know. This will be the first “One Day” event ever. They picked the date 10-10-10 because it would be easy to remember. Their profile spotlight page of users from around the world is pretty interesting . Although the filmmakers spotlighted seem really professional, they are accepting videos from anyone and everyone. They are promoting freedom of speech here but they do have a few rules like don’t use the event for a dating service and don’t upload content that is not yours. They want only original stuff that is created for the event. All video must be shot on October 10, 2010 then uploaded within the following month. Click here to view the submission guidelines.
